oh common, abi...i understand the morag thing fucked us over, but you have to tell us what you're doing. It was one mistake...if you think that is reason enough for you to do everything on your own, that's ok, but at least tell us that's what you want to do, coz we wanted to just start filming stuff ourselves...we have two cameras right now, booked til monday.
We divided our work this tuesday and it would've been great to know what you did, so we don't waste anymore time.

Also, it's better to do it qualitative rather than quantitative. Like that interview with the cute girl with braces, we filmed her for 20 minutes in two different locations. And we know we're gonna end up using one, maybe two sentences out of that whole interview. We need to think about that before interviews and maybe ask the students to say something mini-scripted or something. Also, she said something like: "there are not a lot of opportunities around Aberdeen, not even in Scotland for journalism" and she, the girl, said we're probably not gonna use that. But we encouraged her to speak for about 5 minutes about how journalism in Aberdeen sucks. We're not gonna use that shit....that was just an example...

We did have a slow start this semester. We need to get back on our feet, but if we start doing things individually without noticing the rest of the group, it's gonna fuck us up.
I don't want to start a fight, especially with Abi, who remains the person that works the most for this project....i'm just trying to communicate.

I really think we should do a serious plan and then schedule what's left to film on Friday. And we should start dividing the work for proposal. Now we are 4 or 5 and we have to write 1000 to 1250 words (depends on John) and we should be able to do that shit in one week, to get it over with by the middle of April.

I'm going to do two serious timelapses, since most Aberdeen shots are already done. I will do a good sunrise one this time and I will do a bus-ride timelapse, like we talked about. Let me know if I can do something more until Friday.

I dont want to do it all myself. Like why would I want to give myself more work?

I agree with the girls interview last week. Next time we should film at one location but do a couple takes.

But to tell you the truth, what yous have filmed so far has been unusable e.g. Andrew Jones and Morag Hamilton interviews both are not pleased with the interviews. But obviously we are going to have to use them, because they dont have the time to do it again. The Castlegate filming, the lens was dirty and was over exposed.

As for the plan we already did that a few weeks ago, in the team meeting in the library. Most important task now to do is the proposal.

I suggested to Brano earlier that we should use similar titles as last semester's proposal. And each do the same parts, but obviously not as many so that conrad and john will have themt oo.

A lot of Aberdeen hasnt been done yet, but I am still waiting to hear back from directors/managers about permission to film.

yap, I knows...we fucked up with morag and the dirty lens...i;m sorry for my part in that..i don't understand why andrew jones was upset though....but yeah..i thought you got really mad at us for these mistakes and decided to do everything by yourself...my apologies

i m not totally sure but its around hour of footage i know it is too much but there is lot of useless stuff, so we need to go through it. Abi can u please bring all tapes tomorrow so we can capture everything we have.

(and that's pretty much it...it got way too cloudy after half 5)

good one.. suggest we start capturing tapes after we do filming on monday. However we need to sort out that edit share thing with the tech department. Think that is why we are not able to capture at uni.

2 cameras - long shot of isabel speaking, and close ups of students listening and taking notes

make sure to bring in an appearance clearance form and for isabel to sign it. this is very important! ive sent an appearance clearance form copy to brano's rgu email

Also tomorrow evening at 8:30pm in RGU Union is the fashion show fundraising event. be there I would say 8:30pm for maximum 2 hours and see what happens. Film maximum 30 minutes of footage.

Friday i'm in as well...I'm 90% sure in for the shopping and airport filming as well...tomorrow morning I have to go to AVC, coz there some last minute filming that I have to do and I can swing by the uni at around 12-1 probably, but there is not much need for me then I suppose...so, friday it's konrad and I definitely. so who's going tomorrow?

and brano told me there is a group meeting this friday as well, right?

i ll do tomorrow morning and i can attend friday as well (i m working from 5), but i want to do that meeting in the morning so we can talk about all of the stuff and capture everything. all others are arrangeable for me as well so i can attend them again. who is going with me tomorrow morning cause i can do it on my own (of course only one camera) i know that two cameras would be better but i think that to do wide shot and than close up of both student and lecturer isnt that big problem. only problem would be with all that documentation and stuff to do around like talking to students about interviews and making them sign that "appearance sheet".

I got the bus timelapse today...it's around 20 minutes long, I got it from a double-decker...for the first half it was slightly out of focus, i felt sooo fuckin bad when I realised...but it's gonna be ok when we speed it up 50x or whatever...I really think it's gonna be a good addition to the video.

So, we meet at say 12 tomorrow?

This week was like a train wreck. I really wanted to come today, but I just woke up. I don't know if I should come or not now! I read here that both Brano and Konrad will be there, probably Abi as well, so there's no need for me.

What's the filming schedule for next week?
I can be present on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and weekend for whatever it is!
I talked to Brano and he told me there's still a lot of capturing to do, so I will do that to make up for not attending last week...was the night life done already? I'm kinda in the mood to get shit-faced...
